Too busy growin' to be postin'

It's been quite a while. But not quite a month. If I go for a month without posting, please tell me to give it up.

Anyway, part of the reason we've been so busy is because of the new project in the yard: raised beds. Yep: What's Growing is getting back to it's roots. Next year we should have a good vegetable garden. This was all precipitated by the tree falling down last year.

What else has been going on? Well, there was cake in Laurelhurst Park in Portland last week. L arranged for a whole group of people to stop by. It was a perfect spot. If you've never been to Laurelhurst Park, go. It's picture perfect. Mike threw someone's frisbee into the pond and was forced to go off to Fred Meyer to get a new one. He returned with a football--which won him some new friends. Mike and I got to hanging out with our old friend Phil as well.

Anyway, part of what I've been doing this week is getting together some photos of the yard work thus for. (Sorry about the lame-o photoshop album). Enjoy.
